Since late January of 2021  I've been unable to concentrate on painting. After multiple attempts, that have fizzled out over the last few months, I found the paintings of Robert Moore. Robert paints very large canvases in the impressionist style. I am a fan of his work.

These painting spoke to me and inspired me to paint again. I finally was able to complete two small, (12X16,) paintings borrowing Roberts composition and color pallet. Mine are not as impressionistic as Robert's are.

Portraits

While I've continued to paint landscapes I also have began to attempt portraits. I began with a self portrait, so as to not offend anyone if I was terrible at it. The first four turned out ok.
